“Let me get this straight- your saying that because something is impossible, it exists?” I asked pushing a canoe of thought into uncharted water of his ideas- Shantaram

Girl Talk ...ALL DAY

Martin Creed- I like things

Martin Creed
This guy intrigues me. Won the Turner Prize in 2001 for Work No 227: The Lights Going On And Off

Creed’s art is characterised by a gentle wit and by a minimalism rooted in an instinctive anti-materialism. He explores the boundaries in interesting and unsettling ways. He definitely doesn't take himself too seriously, sooo refreshing.
The "piece" i love is: Work No. 88 ‘a sheet of A4 paper crumpled into a ball’, he describes this as ‘an attempt to short-circuit the visually overloaded, choice saturated culture in which we live’.
And my favourite.... the "i like things song"

A mermaid named Madison...

I love mermaids... not sure why...... i think it's the red head's fault

Some pics my friend Beccy P. took in the a photoshoot she organised. It was styled using some of my pieces i have in my collection and some jewelry pieces i have made.

Coincidence?

"You are old and wise enough now to recognize that some nuisances in life are like the tide. They increase. They decrease. When they go away, they never stay away. Nor, though when they return, do they remain. The secret of success is to build floating structures.."
This was my star sign for the day. The little tide analogy above seems to be right on for me at the moment. Coincidence? Lately, all my friends and I seem to be saying is, "She is such a Gemini, he is such a Cancer." I find it interesting how some descriptions of my sign, Scorpio are quite accurate, and when I read others I think to myself....that's not me at all. We are all different i guess and I have yet to meet another Scorpio like me.

Life Drawing....

I really want to get back into it, did it for 2 years at uni. This is one of my favourite sketches. It was done with my eyes closed. I love the simplicity of the lines.

Everything is revealed at the 33rd Degree.......

At the beginning of the year i started a journal and took it around with me. Jotted ideas, notes, quotes and things that inspire me.
